Donate to Bee Ridge Church and Covered In Love

Ten percent of each weekly offering at Bee Ridge Church is devoted to missionary or outreach programs.  The amount is equally divided between our Sharefund and Missions efforts. 

The Sharefund is used for individuals in our community who have financial needs such as assistance with rent, auto repair, medical bills, etc.  Any person in the community may contact our pastor with details of their need (or the need of someone they know) and the information will be reviewed by our Sharefund Committee members.  If assistance is granted the Sharefund Committee members will work with the entity owed (landlord, repair company, doctor’s office) and arrange for full or partial payment based upon the person’s circumstances.  Funds are never given directly to the person in need and their need always remains confidential.

Our Missions program may be local, national or international.  In the past donations have been made to specific Christian missionary teams serving underprivileged communities or villages in other nations.  Nationally, Bee Ridge Church has supported organizations serving low income areas working to improve quality of life.  Locally, support has been given for the Clay County School Corporation’s “backpack” program providing home food for students in need.  Bee Ridge Church recently donated an amount to each elementary school in the Brazil, Indiana area to be used “as needed” for students from low income families unable to pay for school expenses not covered by the school system.

Covered In Love diaper ministry was developed and is operated by Molly Ascheman, one of our Bee Ridge Church members. Molly recognized the need facing families and single mothers in purchasing diapers, wipes, etc. since these items are not covered by State and local food assistance programs.  Molly opens the diaper pantry weekly on Wednesdays and provides much needed assistance to anyone stopping by.  The diapers go quickly, and Molly continually seeks item donations and financial assistance to replenish her supply.  While Bee Ridge Church donates to Covered In Love through our Missions efforts, it is not enough to meet the program’s needs.  If you would like to donate to Covered In Love please contact Molly directly at 812-239-8126 or visit the Covered In Love Facebook page for more information.  You may also make a donation through the Bee Ridge Church donation link and specify the amount for Covered In Love and your donation will be forwarded to Molly.
